F. Mueller, M.D.,
is
a physician and has received his training in internal medicine,
nephrology and intensive care at the Clinic of Medicine of the
Philipps-University of Marburg, Germany where he worked until
spring 2000. Then
he worked as a Research Fellow at the Division of Nephrology at
Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston,
MA. Since Nov 2004 he has taken an appointment as Assistant Professor
in the Division of Nephrology and Immunology at the University
of Alberta in Edmonton, where he is working as a clinician scientist.
Gilbert
Reibnegger, M.Sc., D.Sc.,
enjoyed
his education as a postdoc at the University of Innsbruck, Austria,
and since fall 1994, is Professor of Medical Chemistry at the
Institute for Medical Chemistry and Pregl-Laboratory at the Karl-Franzens-University
of Graz, Austria. From
1994 to 2001 he was Chairman of this institute; since 2001 he
is Dean of Studies of the Medical Faculty.
